My RARE did not start in a boardroom. It started with a simple frustration: why is it so hard to find supplements in India that are actually what they claim to be?
We had been in the supplement and fitness space for years. We saw how the industry worked from the inside brands cutting corners on ingredients, slapping imported-sounding names on locally manufactured products, charging premium prices for products that could not pass a basic purity test.
So we decided to build the brand we wished existed as consumers: lab-tested, honestly priced, and transparent about everything.
We are based in Nallasopara, Maharashtra. Not Mumbai. Not Bangalore. Nallasopara — a place most people in the supplement industry have not heard of. And that is fine. Because the quality of your creatine does not depend on your office’s pin code.
Our community started with a few friends playing football on Sunday mornings. Today it has grown into weekly football matches and 5K runs. We are not the biggest brand. We do not have Bollywood ambassadors. What we have is a promise: every product is lab-tested, every report is published, and every Sunday we show up.
